Panto Update

News

It's late August and itʼs dark at 9.30, the 133rd Nairn Games and attendant showies have disappeared over the horizon and weʼre collectively feeling glum having been cheated out of a decent summer to make-up for the harsh winter. Never fear Nairn Pantoʼs here! Oh yes it is!

The cast has been selected for this yearʼs production of Sleeping Beauty following open auditions last Monday with old and new club members good-naturedly joshling for their place in the spotlight. Directed again by Lee Cruickshank, this yearʼs production is certainly bigger and if itʼs possible, promises to be better than ever. Look out for inspired casting of Olga Pong, and the dodgy royals of King Rumbletum and Queen Gigglebelly.

With considerable extra cost for the royalties of this yearʼs production, the committee have put their heads together and come up with an imaginative corporate sponsorship package. Contact with local business is under way but if you haven't yet been contacted and you would like to benefit from first rate, cost effective local publicity, telephone Sandra McGowan on 01667 455899.

Only 88 days to opening night on Wednesday 24th November and with 14 performances planned, the club are confident of filling all 900 seats and more and with advanced reservations from satisfied customers from last yearʼs run, the sound advice is, donʼt delay, book soon to avoid disappointment.
