Music and Poetry from 18th-century Scotland

James Ross & Bill Taylor present a programme including historical and traditional music associated with the Ossianic poems of James Macpherson, the songs of Robert Burns and selections from James Hogg’s Jacobite Relics of Scotland using voice, historical harps, early clarinets, whistles and small pipes to evoke a rich period of Scottish cultural history
