Nairn Drama Club

The Little Theatre is proud to host the Strictly Belly Dance Show on 30th May 2009. As well as 11 local teachers taking part from across the North of Scotland, there shall be 3 American dancers, who will be performing for the first time in Scotland.

The show is to raise money for Crossroads Nairn and is sponsored by The Macallan whisky

The demand for this show has been fantastic and the local dance community are fully involved. Most of the participants are also members of the audience and Liz will have to organise the show with military precision to ensure that change over times and smooth. Unfortunately this show is sold out, but if opportunities arise in the future to do something similar open to the public then Liz would be happy to work on this with the committee.

"We are delighted and thank the Little Theatre for the support and help from the members for this production from lighting, sound to background painting and staging and I'm sure this evening will be one to remember" Liz said.

The style of dance vary from Modern Egyptian to Tribal, classical and folk so there will be wide range of styles for folk to enjoy.
